The Foundation for Law and Government, also known as FLAG, is a crime-fighting organization dedicated to fighting criminals who operate above the law.

FLAG was founded by Wilton Knight and is funded by the Knight Industries. FLAG's "pilot program" was the use of one man and one car, KITT, responsible for resolving issues that went beyond typical legal measures.
